We set high standards
- All tutors must pass our assessment procedure & mock-teaching
- They need to attend our Training of Tutor with certain objectives
- They need to submit Learning Report (P&P) every month to the management to monitor the students’ progress
We assess tutors in the following competencies
- Interaction: Assessed through: Interview, planned lesson and references.
- Knowledge: Assessed through: CV, interview, micro-teaching & references.
- Teaching ability: Assessed through: Interview, micro-teaching and references.
- Problem solving: Assessed through: Interview
Who are our tutors?
- Full time teachers
- Teachers in full time education
- Teachers setting up businesses or social enterprises
- Teachers that now have alternative professions
- Professional tutors
What ongoing involvement do we have?
- We monitor tutor feedback monthly
- We approach our clients for feedback monthly
- We provide ongoing training for tutors through weekend workshops
- We provide resources upon request from our clients and tutors
We have a rigorous assessment procedure
- All tutors must submit a written application to be a tutor
- Successful applications are invited to attend an interview
- During the assessment, candidates perform a competency interview and deliver a micro-tuition session to our assessors
- Candidates must achieve excellent scores across all of our competencies in order to become CMN Tutors.
