Husniza binti Hussain
My name is Dr. Husniza Hussain and I am a Malay Muslim female. I was born in Alor Setar, Kedah Darulaman on 8th December 1970.
I am a scientist and I have experiences in managing clinical laboratory and handling research in the field of nutritional biochemistry and food biotechnology projects from conception to completion.
I also a writer for kids’ mathematics and science books in my pastime. In July 2012, I was awarded Gold Medal at the Invention, Research and Innovation Exhibition (Pameran Rekacipta, Penyelidikan dan Inovasi) Malaysia held at the Universiti Putra Malaysia.
After the exhibition from 11-13 May 2017, I was awarded two Silver Medals at the 28th International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) 2017 for two innovations.
On 22-24 February 2018, my team and I had won one Bronze Award for an innovation at the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2018.
The kit had been filed for patent in 2018 and the app had been granted copyright in 2017.
